I just wanted to publicly appreciate all the residents of Allen and surrounding areas for almost 14 years of great business with great people. We enjoy the ability to help everyone with their vehicle needs and maint. Come by anytime if you need to look under your car for free up on a rack or a lawnmower blade sharpened or simply a toy aired up for the pool with our shop air so you dont pass out blowing it up with your own lungs air! Thanks again, and my review as an owner of this business is that North Dallas area and City of Allen people are GREAT! A great place to do business and a great place to live!!! Bob

This is a rebuttal to the many...

This is a rebuttal to the many blogs and attempts by this man to hurt a good, honest family owned and operated business. This man was advised against replacing the part he thought was bad. Upon a test drive the technician could not find any noise related to the wheel bearing he wanted replacing. The tech. said he would be more worried about the looseness in the steering wheel than anything else and showed me, Bob how it was unstable. We advised this fella against the wheel bearing, but oddly enough he wanted to get it changed anyway. We did and I advised him of the steering wheel being loose, even walked him out to his vehicle and showed him! That's when he turned on us as if we had broken as he says "something" in his vehicle......next started all this slander and attempts to discredit our reputation. Here we advise against spending the money on a repair not needed and he bites the hands trying to HELP him. Not once but on several sites such as allenonline.com, ripoff.com, pissedoffcustomer.net, here and many others. As you can see by visiting these other sites he has a drive to hurt, we pray his heart will soften and reality will become his understanding.

Back in Feb, 2011, I took my ...

Back in Feb, 2011, I took my 2007 Ford Sport Trac to them to have a wheel bearing replaced. I left it with them since Bob the owner had to order the wheel bearing. I got a call a few hours later and he told me that he and one of his techs test drove the truck and didn't hear any issues with the bearing. I told him to go ahead and replace it.

Around closing time he called me again to tell me the truck was ready and that my steering wheel was really loose. There was no mention of it when he test drove it prior to the repair to my bearing. During the repair, they did something to damage the steering wheel and are trying to cover it up by saying it was that way when I took it in.

The following morning I had to drive the truck with a loose steering wheel to the Ford dealership to have it repaired at a cost of over $100.00.

If you decide to do business with this guy, I'd suggest you stay with your car/truck and watch everything they do to it. I will no longer do any business with this company again.

Business Response10/11/2011

In responce to MartinM: This fella came in with as he says a "bad wheel bearing" --only, it wasn't really bad. After a test drive we advised him of such and NOT to change it. He insited to spend his money on it anyway (odd-?) We did notice the steering wheel was excessively loose and our technician said he would be more concerned over that instead, if he were the owner. I showed the owner and he accused me of foul play immediatly. Go figure...
