Dr. Michael S. Clinton spent his early years in Huntsville, Alabama where his father was an integral part of the space race of the 1960’s. In 1976, he graduated Magna cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in biomedical engineering. Dr. Clinton served as an officer in the United States Navy aboard a guided missile destroyer after attending college on a full naval scholarship. After completion of medical school, general surgery training and certification, Dr. Clinton received his plastic surgery training from Duke University. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery. During his early years of practice, he gained extensive experience in restoration of the face and hand after trauma and the breast after cancer surgery, as a member of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. Later, he helped establish the Carraway Laser Center and performed the first Carbon Dioxide laser skin resurfacing and Erbium laser skin resurfacing in the state of Alabama. He is nationally recognized and requested by top laser producers as one of the most qualified laser surgeons to teach numerous courses in cosmetic laser surgery for other physicians. Most of his time, presently, is spent performing cosmetic surgery and laser procedures of the face, breast, and body. He has recently relocated his office, Clinton Plastic Surgery, to St. Vincent’s new One Nineteen Health and Wellness Complex in Birmingham, Alabama.

After visiting many other surgeons in town I chose Dr.Clinton. Not only is Dr.Clinton So professional and caring he has an absolutely amazing staff to back him. He is a fantastic surgeon and is very talented. I personally had 0 post-op complications. I am an out of town client and was so happy with the suite that was offered after my surgery so that he could see me immediately the next day before i went home. The staff as a whole was "next level" amazing! Everyone was so caring, thoughtful, and so empathetic to my sensitive issue I was dealing with. This issue was something i had struggled with for over 10 years and has been the single best decision i have made for myself! I have recommended many people to take the drive to visit Clinton Plastic Surgery and will continue to do so.
Doctor Clinton and his assistance was awesome the whole staff team was amazing every visit was very friendly i really enjoyed it all.My surgery went well i didn't have any problems if i had to choose a doctor Dr Clinton will absolutely be my first pick i would like to say thanks to the entire staff it was a great experience.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Clinton and his staff. This is has been one of the best experiences from start to finish. As a bonus, I am so much happier with the way I look! 5 stars all around!
