Dr. Sanjay Kantu graduated Dean’s Honor List from Columbia University School of Engineering & Applied Science before entering Stony Brook University Medical School. After completing Otolaryngology Specialization at SUNY Brooklyn where he served as chief resident, he advanced into a clinical Fellowship in Microvascular Head & Neck Reconstruction & Facial Cosmetic Surgery based in Indianapolis. Dr. Sanjay Kantu authored several textbook chapters and various manuscripts throughout in addition to presenting at national meetings & ENT chapters. An active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, The New York Head & Neck Society, The American Rhinologic Society, and the Kings County Medical Society, Sanjay Kantu was inducted into both the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Sanjay Kantu actively participates at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary as well as Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center where he serves as Chief. Dr. Sanjay Kantu has established an outstanding reputation for his comprehensive approach to all disorders of the head and neck. As predicted by Dr. Kantu, I am feeling a great sense of relief in my sinus pressure after the balloon procedure and have less sinus headaches. Dr. Kantu was always professional and clear with me as to what to expect before, during, and after the procedure.

Going to Dr Sanjay Kantu was amazing. He diagnosed me performed my polyp removal surgery. After surgery i can breath better and got my smell back. He makes sure his patience are comfortable and makes sure to answer all my 100 questions. Great experience!

Dr. Sanjay Kantu has been my doctor since 2012, and has done 2 surgeries on me and i could not be any happier with my breathing.
Dr. Kantu helped me with my sinus issue that I had for the last 5 years. Where the PC failed to diagnose, Dr. Kantu was able to assist. After the surgery, I am able to breath from both nostrils. I feel great and breath better and able to be mobile in the cold. I no longer have any pressure, and no more sinus headaches. I high recommend him because he treats you like family.
