Tri-City Mechanical is a full-service mechanical provider in Chandler, Ariz. The company was started in1962 by Michael Nothum Sr., when he moved from Missouri to Arizona. Tri-City s original home was a small metal building in Tempe, Ariz., near the Salt River bottom. Its first customers were custom home and tract homebuilders. In 1979, Mike Nothum Jr. shifted the company s focus from home building to commercial projects. Since then, the company has continued to focus on becoming a premier design-build company. In 1997, the original name, Tri-City Air Conditioning, was changed to Tri-City Mechanical to the company s ability in mechanical and process piping, plumbing and temperature controls.
