I used to work at a coffee shop that was always busy with customers so we were making new pots of coffee constantly. No one, including me that worked there knew that the glass of a coffee pot could think out after repeatedly being left on the burner. After waiting for the entire pot to brew I picked it up to pour into a customers cup and the bottom of the coffee pot shattered sending boiling hot coffee onto my feet and into my shoes.
