General Info

Dr. Salamat received his medical degree from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg, Germany. He completed his general pediatric residency and chief residency at Driscoll Children's Hospital, Corpus Christi, in 1997 and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, in 2000. He is board certified in general pediatrics, as well as, in pediatric cardiology by American Board of Pediatrics. He is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and American College of Cardiology (FACC). He is author of several peer reviewed articles, as well as, chapters in the "Park's, The Pediatric Cardiology Handbook". He is a clinical associate professor at Texas A & M University, Health Science Center.
