excellent thai food. i love the green curry chicken. service is lacking (servers are often slow to refill drinks, etc), but the food makes up for it! love this place!

I have eaten at Sweet Basil dozens of times since it opened a few years ago. The food has always been exceptiona and the value was remarkable.



The service has always been great until recently. I walked in to place a take out order. It was 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. My ticket was lost and it was 20 minutes later that I was acknowledged, and my order placed again. My check was left with me for another 10 minutes before someone came to take my payment, and another 10 minutes before it was returned to me. An important note to be aware of - this is a very small restaurant, only 7 tables were filled, with more than 5 people for waitstaff. It wasn't like they couldn't see me - they just didn't pay any attention.



There is a newer location in Lewisville that I have frequented since this experience in Denton; I have had only positive experiences at the Lewisville location.

The food is delicious and the service is top notch!

The name "Sweet Basil" has always fooled us, so we've always passed it over and gone elsewhere. We finally decided to try the place and was so pleasantly surprised with the food, prices and atmosphere, that we've put it on our list of places we want to share with our friends.
