I have a 15hp Mercury 2-stroke outboard engine that had a frayed and stretched control cable. The engine wouldn't shift between drive, neutral and reverse. I took the engine to Performance Marine who conducted a very thorough inspection of the engine and recommended I get a tune-up and service the water pump as well as fixing the tiller cable. I also had one transom bolt that was stripped and they replaced that as well.

This engine is a workhorse and I have had it for decades with no issues. It is reassuring to know it has now been professionally inspected and tuned up. I will probably get many more years out of it.

Ironically, after I picked up the engine from Performance Marine, it was literally a YEAR before I put her in the water. When I finally did, I was nervous (and a bit embarrassed) that I had never tested it after the repairs. To my delight, she fired up on the second pull! A fine day ensued crabbing and sight-seeing on Dungeness Bay in Sequim.

I worked with Ken, at their Dagmar's location and this guy is a class act! We had a new motor built and Kens customer service through the whole process was excellent and still going! Thank you!

I have called 2 times on Sat for a price on an advertised boat. 1st time - salesman on phone and would call back; 2nd time (8 hrs later) - salesman not available, but I was told he was very busy. 3rd time (following Mon) - salesman off, person I talked with was not able to give me price information and said he would talk to the person in charge and call me back. I never heard from him. If they have no more professionalism in selling boats...I would have no faith in how they might service/maintain boats.
