We had previously gotten sick here shortly after they opened but we figured they deserved a 2nd chance. We were cheerfully greeted and asked if we needed a high chair when we were seated. Ten minutes, no high chair. Waitress finally gets us one, and we are waiting another 5 before she takes the order.
Drink refill took another ten minutes- there was another customer nearby with an impatient look.
My wife had the Reuben. It was fatty. She said it was ok. It looked like there was hardly any meat on it, so for what was there to have been fatty is unacceptable. I had a bite. It was not even ok.

Mine was the Seafood Francais- filet of sole with shrimp, scallops, and artichokes over angel hair. Sounds appetizing, right? Nope. All done up together in a slimy unappetizing breading. The fish was not fresh tasting. There were only two scallops (the best part). The shrimp was ok, but the breading sort of ruined it.
Won't be back.

Service was great! Seated quickly; waitress was jovial & efficient.

Decor was a tad '80's, but very clean. Similar to City Diner, but cleaner w/ better staff & food.

The hubs had Lobster Sensation @ $17.95. It came with a generous house salad & soup. He tried the seafood gumbo, which he said was pretty good.

His entree was very good & generous. Good taste, bad appearance. The gumbo looked like a cup of mud and the Lobster would have benefited from a sprinkling of fresh parsley and shaved parm.

I ordered Stuffed Cabbage. It's served w/ spaghetti, but I subbed the Greek lemon potato. It came w/house salad, soup & veg. $12.95.

My was great; Definitely homemade. and tender!

Homemade ranch & blue cheese were bland. We jazzed them up w/ some of the feta spread meant for the bread.

Will return.

UPDATE: Return visit, ordered different entrees. Food just excellent, staff fabulous. Owner stopped by to chat; great guy. We have found our go to restaurant!

Something 4 everyone!
