My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee suddenly started idling over 2000 rpm's and wouldn't drop down. I called Budget Auto Repair and spoke to Stewart. "Bring it in I'd be happy to check it out". When I arrived, he knew immediately what the problem was, a vacuum leak on the back of the motor. Felt around behind the motor for loose hoses, followed it to a rubber elbow seal and found the seal to be cracked. He pulled one off of a motor he's restoring and charged me nothing but a smile! Being a woman, I could have very easily been blindsided by high costs -- but sooo grateful that Stewart is VERY KIND, HONEST & KNOWLEDGEABLE - hard to find mechanics like him in these "uncertain times"! This shop is run by a very honest and down to earth mechanic, by far the best garage i have ever dealt with, i will be bringing all my vehicles there so if you want personal service bring your vehicle to this garage.

I had my vehicle at rons auto repair to get fixed 3 weeks ago and had my transmission rebuilt and since i got it back i have had no problems and its been smooth sailing ever since i got it back.I would recommend my family,friends and coworkers to go to rons auto repair to get their vehicle fixed.He has reasonable prices and his crew is very friendly and so is ron himself.

Wow what you said big joke !!!!!!! I got to disagree.Myself and family members have gone there and had repairs done and he and crew did a great job my car is still doing good .So to your comment i would have to total disagree.I myself will keep going back ..

rons auto repair is pure and simple, one big joke!!! this guy does not believe in service to the community. oh yeah im sure he can come up with an example or two of devoted testimony about how he has done this or that but, when it comes to the individual that does not see him on a regular basis or the customer that just happens by with a desperate need for repairs, WATCH OUT!!!!

this guy is an unfair busines man and a person that will not keep a promise.



ron has some good qualities but, stops short of using them. i have talked with former workers of rons auto repair of whom he has not payed for services rendered and am convinced that he is nothing more than the common crook who has not been caught.



He charged me 1200 dollars to supposedly solve the problem i was having with overheating. I made it to south lansing after the repairs were finished and it overheated. He looked at it again and said something else went wrong so i said fix it. Still over heats. He doesnt know how to properly repair a vehicle and he is even licensed to be working on cars.
