Kathleen McCumber and her staff was great and pleasant to work with... very knowledgeable in my child custody/support case. She was always available to answer all of my questions and made "the process" easier to go through. Thank you Kathleen and Staff.

Kathleen M McCumber is not professional or helpful to divorce clients. I was overcharged for the small amount of work she did on my case and then she charged me for filing documents that she never even bothered to create. She refused to reduce the charges, even once there was clear evidence that the documents in question didn't exist. I am much happier using a larger law firm where my new attorney has a boss that she answers to for her actions. Kathleen M McCumber believes she should answer to no one and that rules/laws don't apply to her. Hiring her is a very costly mistake.

Kathleen McCumber was not a competent advocate for me and my kids as she claims to be in her initial consultation. She charged me an initial retainer and promised she would remain dedicated to my case. She did attend one hearing and pressured me into signing an agreement that I did not feel was appropriate. I was stupid to trust her and now my kids and I have been forced from our home, my ex has access to all the community funds and I have NONE and I had to hire a second attorney after firing McCumber to try to clean up her mess. After months of not receiving child support through the Office of the Attorney General's office as I was supposed to be, my second lawyer found, that even though she had been assured by Cagle & McCumber that the Wage Withholding Order had been filed, it HAD NOT BEEN. The multiple instances of this lawyer dragging her feet and cutting corners to do as little as possible has cost me thousands of dollars in missed child support and new attorney's fees. She will make your divorce a nightmare. Don't make the same mistake I did. She is absolutely a LIAR AND A THIEF.

She hates kids!! She will lie to you and tell you she has all this pull with the judges. Then she will take your money and lose purposely lose yoyur case for you. Then your kids will end up in a horrible crime ridden place because of her and her evil lies. If you care about your kids and there well being,please stay away from her. If you have good Christian values please boycott her and her evil ways.

Kathleen McCumber represented me in my divorce earlier this year and her services were great! She helped guide me through a difficult time in my life and her and her office were always kind and helpful. Yes, sometimes she is hard to reach on the phone, but she always responded in detail to my emails or had her assistant get back to me with any questions I had. It seems to me that those that complain about her services simply did not get what they want and usually for other reasons. Everybody can't always win or get exactly what you want, you have to compromise in these situations and some people just don't seem to want to do that! Anyways, just my two cents... I really liked her and would recommend her to anyone going through this difficult time in their lives.

Kathleen McCumber is an unprofessional crook, if you need an honest, dedicated, communicative attorney take your money elsewhere.

KATHLEEN MCCUMBER RARELY, IF EVER, RETURNS PHONE CALLS; HER "CLERK" GIVES OUT WRONG INFORMATION, BUT THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN GET SINCE MS. MCCUMBER DOESN'T BOTHER TO RETURN PHONE CALLS OR REPLY WITH MORE THAN ONE OR TWO WORD, INSUFFICIENT RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS EMAILED. NOT ONLY DOES SHE SEEM TO BUSY TO BE BOTHERED WITH PAYING CLIENTS, SHE LURES THEM INTO HIRING HER BY CONVINCING TRUSTING PEOPLE WEAKENED BY NERVE RACKING LIVING SITUATIONS (DIVORCES AREN'T FUN OR EASY FOR ANYONE WITH THE EXCEPTION PERHAPS OF ATTORNEYS LIKE THIS ONE) THAT THEY NEED LEGAL SERVICES THAT IN FACT TURN OUT TO BE NOT TRUE. KATHLEEN MCCUMBER TOOK MY FRIEND'S MONEY AFTER CONVINCING HER THAT HER DIVORCE WAS "INVALID"!" AFTER TAKING HER MONEY AND LEADING HER TO BELIEVE SHE MAY BENEFIT FROM THIS "REAL" DIVORCE WHICH SHE HAS BEEN PAID A NICE CHUNK OF CHANGE TO HANDLE, SHE STARTED REQUIRING "PROOF" THAT THE DIVORCE SHE CLAIMED WAS INVALID WAS IN FACT INVALID. SHE LIED, SHE TOOK THAT POOR GIRL'S HARD EARNED MONEY AND AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED. NEVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS OR EMAIL MESSAGES. SHE DID NOT HAVE MY FRIEND OR HER CHILD'S INTERESTS ON HER AGENDA AT ALL. SHE RIPPED THEM OFF.



I PERSONALLY THINK SHE'S A CROOK AND SHOULD BE REPORTED. SHE'S ONE OF THOSE THAT MERELY WORSHIPS THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR WITH LITTLE TO NO REGARD TO RIGHTS OR JUSTICE.
