I like Griffin animal hospital because I get to stay with my dog during exam and the surgery if necessary is done that day most go home that day and medicine needed is provided right then not a script but actual medicine. It does not hurt that the prices are lowest around . I have lived in 3 different areas of Macon and I continue to drive back to Griffin no matter how far away. I am ok with the older bldg. others might mention. There is no boarding so ,ok. The wait times are 30-60 min ,no appointments ,first come first served. The staff is knowledgeable and very nice.

I like this clinic because the Doctor is hands on in the care of your pet. You get to be right beside your pet during the exams, and while they get their shots, etc. I went to one place and you do not ever see a Doctor, the Techs take them from you to a back room to give them the shots, etc. I do not like that. It means so much that Dr Griffin is so hands on. It is worth the wait and the fees are not as outrageous as some of the places around Macon. Dr Griffin has always been kind and attentive to our fur baby. He let me know that he is not available after hours but gave me a number to a place to call after hours should there be a serious need for our little dog. Dr Griffin works hard to see all his fur patients on any given day. The staff is always open and friendly as well, which means a lot while you wait.

Last night I walked into the living room to see my mom holding her chihuahua and his tounge was hanging out his mouth and he was whimpering and deficating with no control. So I proceed in trying to call for help. Well I call this number and all I get is an answering machine that says were closed, I think there should be some emergency number that would help you out, because I tried to call other numbers and all I got was we don't see animals who are not patients of the vet I called. so I had to sit there not knowing what to do. So that's why I am writing a bad review. Thank you for last night.and thanks to every heartless vet that would allow this to go on you should want to help any animal and not be money hungry non animal lovers.

Griffin Animal Hospital saved our dog(Yorkie) who had been attacked by a Boxer. I truly am grateful for the kind and friendly staff. Our baby was there for 10 days and not once was I made to feel like I was bothering them when I called to check on him. They are amazing. And after being on antibiotics,having his kidneys to fail, and needing surgery to repair a wound in his neck,I was still able to afford the bill. Amazing!! Thank youAvia Morris

Best vet ever there cheap and take real good care of you animals! The vets are real nice! It's a family owned how do I know that because I am Anna griffin my daddy is Keith griffin and my poppa is bill griffin he owns the clinic i hope you really had a great time when you go there. :)

I have always used Griffin's cause that's where my parents would always take all my animals as a child. I was the greatest about bringing home stray animals, an off to Griffens we would go. I recently was given a 5 wk old Chihuahua puppy, I took him to have his first shots & his blood sugar dropped real low I called them they told me what to do & to get him on in. And with all his other shots they have me leave him so they can watch him to make sure he will be OK. Its all about your animal and how they can help. I will always use him, my kids take their cats & my grand kids go with me so I know they will use him in the future....
