We have been with Fern Gardens for some time now. They have provided our family with a great resource and level of care when we needed it most. The commitment the staff has presented to us has been excellent and there have been no issues with a lack of support when we had questions. Caring for Alzheimer patients is a very hard thing to do – we couldn’t take care of our father at home. There are many complicated requirements that govern care of Alzheimer patients in the State of Oregon, it is a specialized field. Fern Gardens is a free standing Memory Care facility , they know what they are doing. If the focus of a care home is to make sure that your family member is treated with loving care and respect, then I would say that Fern Gardens has exceeded our expectations. Jon Jergins

better if they had workers that payer mote attention

there are a lot of things such as canes teeth glasses clothes sfr that come up missing. part of the residents take things but the facility does not take action.

We just went through our first State Survey 5/18/12 and were found to be in "Substantial Compliance with Oregon Adminitgrative Rules 411-54 for Residential Care and Assisted Living Facilities and Memory Care Comminities" and were commended for our efforts in maintaining our residents with Quality of life.
