The Galano Club is based at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a recovery club for people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The club was established in 1973 and has been functioning since then. It provides lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) oriented outreach mission to everyone. Some of the meetings conducted by the club include alcoholicsÕ anonymous, narcotics anonymous, sexual compulsive anonymous, Al-Anon and recovery book club. The club also hosts different social activities such as holiday parties, movie nights, potlucks and packer games. It also has a recovery library with DVDÕs and CDÕs. The amenities of the club include a refreshment bar with soda, juice, water, coffee, and snacks. The Galano Club accepts only cash as payment, and extends its services to the Haymarket neighborhood.
