My goal was simple...help out the "little guy" i.e. the small business owner and get new batteries for 3 watches. I dropped the watches off after 3 trips to the store (the store does not open until 10ish, closed for lunch). When I returned after agreed up date for pick up, only 2 ready. Was told that he needed a special instrument to open the back of the third, had to "order" it. Of the ones ready, the first was fine, the second watch took on water (water resistant to 30m) as soon as it got wet. Returned the second watch to the store and for correction. Third still not ready. I allowed weeks to go by, giving him time to get everything done. On my return, he reported that he "hoped" that watch number 2 would remain dry. When he handed me watch number 3, the back of it fell off onto the counter. He worked on it for a while and when he handed it back to me, the back had been damaged beyond repair (2 jewelers have told me so). The store owner said "well, I do the best I can."
