If there was a 0 option that is what I would give this nail salon. The nail technician was rude, she barely spoke except to attempt to talk me into getting “gel” polish which would’ve made my fill be $39 dollars which I definitely was not going to pay. She had an noticeable attitude when I told her I would just get regular polish and she did a quick and shoddy job on my nails. My dgt was with me also and had the male technician who was also rude and did extremely shoddy work, then before our nails were even painted she says real loud ,”WHO PAY?” and pointed to my dgt too and she says again who pays and I said I’m paying for mine and my dgt is paying for hers and she wanted payment then which was weird and rude enough but to add insult to injury she made me, my dgt, and another young lacy, (who was Also black pay before our nails were done and the two white ladies paid after their manicure and pedicure were done. It was blatant racial profiling and very ignorant. At first I was surprised but after some reflection my feelings were hurt that I was a victim of racial predjudice by a CHINESE person. At the nail shop cuz it was not a SALON as I was waiting for my nails to dry under a UV light that had no timer, and they also don’t bother to tell u when u should be dry not do they check on you, but anyway, as I was sitting there waiting for my nails to dry I got to talking to the white lady who got the fastest pedicure I’ve ever seen, her pedicure was over in ten minutes and she said he cut her toe, and then the black young lady who said she was six months pregnant told me she asked for s mask and they had s noticeably rude attitude after that NONE of us at that table were satisfied and we all said we would never come back, but as we all sat there talking I just got madder and madder at the blatant nerve of a business owner to act like that. Messy gel manicure on natural nails Thursday 5/26/2016. Polish on skin, under nails and several “blips” in the polish and very uneven polish. Called and was told to come back 5/28/2016 before they opened for a fix. I was treated very rudely from the moment I walked back in today. The guy was rough as he filed and drilled the polish off my cuticles and skin. He said okay all done even though now my skin is all red and there are big missing globs of polish everywhere from the drilling – it actually looked worse. Manager told him to put another coat on which just angered him. Job is still terrible but I will live with until I go to another place next week and NEVER again TOP NAILS in Crafton. They had a chance to fix it in a professional manner but that did not happen. Not a good experience. AND not one person apologized. Take your $30 elsewhere for a gel manicure or proceed with caution.
