Sushi was good. Music too loud. Service really bad. Have not returned due to poor service.

I LOVE ordering sushi from Ocean Blue's. I used to go there every weekend, and sometimes even during the weekdays. The prices a la carte are great and they have great handrolls that I could not find elsewhere (masago handrolls, ikura handrools). Miso soup and edaname are free appitizers and during dinner, they give each guest some mochi ice-cream.



Unfortunately, I can only give this restuarant three stars. It's definitely not because of the food, but because of the service. The staff and sushi chefs are very nice. Some servers are GREAT, some are only ok. There have been TWO occasions that they did not come out with food from the kitchen. BOTH times they made an excuse saying that the kitchen was busy and will be getting our order right out (yeah right, after 45 minutes of waiting!). The first time they said that, it might have been a valid excuse since it was a busy saturday night (even though we have been there COUNTLESS previous busy saturday nights). The second time they told me that, there were only 3 other groups there besides us. NO WAY THE KITCHEN WAS BUSY THEN! I looked around when our waitress told me that and almost laughed in her face.



But if you are NOT ordering from the kitchen, the sushi chefs are quick and accurate with sushi bar orders. 5 stars for the sushi bar, but only 2 stars for the ktichen....
