Ikebana restaurant was purchased. Designed and created by the song Family in 2000. After 16 months of intense remodeling. Ikebana opened their doors on october 1 ST of 2001. Within the first 3 months. Ikebana earned the reputation of the “ place to visit” in Salinas. That many locals and travelers came to enjoy. Ikebana’s popularity continued to grow when they were approached to sell the restaurant in 2006. Being that the song Family Also owned and operated Another restaurant called imura in Watsonville. They decided to sell ikebana and just keep imura open to the public. The owners never left the restaurant industry; taking pride in owning and operating imura for the last 23 years. The song Family strived to continually created sushi and food which people love. They look forward to NOT only deliver mouth-watering sushi to ikebana restaurant. But Also to create an exciting environmental “vibe. ” the community and repeat patrons have encouraged US to repurchase the restaurant and Bring back the delectable food they loved. We are thrilled to return to OUR OLD roots again with innovative and a fresh NEW menu to tempt your taste buds. What CAN YOU expect from the NEW restaurant and menu? we have expanded the japanese food and sushi menu. And based on the loyal Patron’s requests. We have added NEW Korean dishes AS well. The owners hired an infamous husband and a wife team from SAN diego WHO created many tantalizing NEW dishes from the Korean cuisines. AS for OUR sushi. YOU will NOT BE disappointed. CHEF steve along with OUR experienced chefs. Oversee the sushi BAR AT imura is on hand to insure OUR customers are receiving the most authentic sushi and cultural experience they have to come to expect. We have added some of IMURA’S favorite dishes to the menu which HAD PUT them on the MAP for the “best sushi restaurants” to visit. We CAN assure YOU that YOU will partake of the freshest food.
