I hired these guys to move my home and it was the worse experience ever. The 3 guys were lead by a drill sergeant of a mover who yelled at his helpers and they almost got into a fist fight inside and outside of my home. They also damaged some of my furniture and after speaking with the manager/owner Mike he assured me that this would be taken care of and it STILL HASN'T!!! I never got a call back to find out what's going on with fixing or replacing my damaged items and its been almost 6 months now. I also did some research on this company and I found out they are not properly licensed or insured to move in the state of Florida and I will be reporting them to every agency as appropriate. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!
Well first let me start off by saying I've never left a review on a company before- good or bad.. but while in my search for movers, i was hesistant to hire this company due to horrific reviews on the web, but FORTUNATELY they were the ONLY company that would help me...I was absolutely blown away by the team I was assigned for my move, and the communication the OWNER HIMSELF (Mikey I believe?) And office manager Rebecca had with me during this incredibly trying, & difficult time. Without going into too much detail here (because there is many things I would like to say) I was going through a very nasty divorce and needed my 3 bedroom home moved in 5 hours and not a minute over due to my ex showing up and causing hell. I had to book the move a day and a half before I needed to be gone and had to be sure I was discreet about the whole thing to avoid cops at my soon to be , old home. Although we couldn't avoid my ex finding out, and the cops showing up- the movers and office worked with me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE as I was being very demanding and needy because of the situation I was in. Not only did they surpass every expectation but they also PROTECTED me and my children, & I could even go as far to say , they probably saved my life on this day. Not one of my items was damaged (my home was completely furnished and not small by any means) and the fact that John and duane cared so much about not only doing an AMAZING job(in 4 hours) but even more so about our safety--spoke volumes. These guys still won't take me up on my offer to repay the whole team with a nice dinner, so I figured the least I could do is reassure anyone looking for a great company that TRULY cares- they are right here. And from what I understand they eliminated the "problems" within the company right before I hired them, so please do not let the Internet fool you! This company truly does care and will go above and beyond to meet your needs.. I literally had other companies trying to charge me for any thing they could after I told them what a desperate situation I was in, and one even told me they won't put their men in the middle of a domestic situation and "good luck". Once again id just like to thank you guys for everything! Skylar and Tyler will always remember you guys and ask about you almost every day. I think you guys made some life long friends ! Never have I known there was such a science to moving items. The movers from this company communicated greatly to avoid breaking any of my items before moving any of it. The whole experience was very amazing, so much so that I tipped each of the movers $100 cash and it was WELL DESERVED.
These guys are the best movers in Tampa! I hired 4 moving companies in the past 6 years and best rate was by far the most professional, the most affordable and the most careful with my expensive furniture. They also moved my grand piano and I was SO impressed with how well they work with each other as a team. Jason was also great to work with when booking them for my move and they so deserve 10 stars!!! Improve your scoring system SuperPages as some businesses on your website deserve more than 5 stars and best rate home services is 1 of them!
We have moved three times in the last seven years. The first two moves went fine without incident. Those crews worked as efficiently as expected and we were satisfied. BUT they never came close to the promptness on arrival, professionalism, personal courtesy and speed carefulness that the two man crew from "Best Rate Home Services" provided us on our latest move. I further want to mention that it was the two man crew of Adrian and Josh from the Orlando office. They made us feel like they were here just for us, and not here just doing their job. They made this move for us a very enjoyable experience. Two great young men dedicated to their work. I would also like to mention the great patience and courtesy shown to us by order taker Mike. They were late but do to due to issues w/there truck (wasn't to disappointed by that). But the 2 guys that were there to move my stuff got in to a yelling match with EACH OTHER, I was no longer ok with the situation. To hear "B****" this and "B****" that , from to grown men who are supposed to be professionals and at my residence to do a job that I was PAYING for they were not very professional. If I didn't step in and remind them that I was paying for a service and not their childish behavior I think the situation may have gotten physical. I did call to make the company aware of the situation and a manager did show up and did remove the guy that seemed to be the issue. Things seemed to be fine. The only other down side was that my boxes marked “fragile” were found at the bottom of several stacks of boxes. Thank God nothing was broken! I honestly cannot say I would recommend this moving company to anyone and I am not a 100% sure that I would use them again.
Hello Tracie, and my deepest apologies about the brief behavior of our movers on your move day. We had 1 newer mover on the job that day who unfortunately did not take good direction or training, and I heard they had a few words among each other in an area where you could hear it. For some individuals, moving is not the type of work they can handle and for others (our top people) they work to ensure all of our customers belongings are moved properly. At times personalities can clash as our movers are human as well, but true professionalism is all that we're dedicated to. Needless to say, the originator of the issue was dealt with swiftly (as you pointed out with our Director of Customer Relations), where he quickly arrived with a mover replacement and removed one of your original movers. Its also great to know there was no damage to any of your furniture, which is the most important thing above all...and I'm confident the efficiency of our cleaners will also impress :). OMG this company has been the best moving company in Tampa I ever used!!! The guys looked professional in company uniform, they had top of the line moving equipment and they moved at the speed of lightning to move me and my husband. To all of you who are in the process of moving you should definitely call Best Rate as their prices live up to their company name and the office people/movers truly know how to run a business and treat customers.

This company should teach many of the Tampa area moving companies how to run their business. I have used 3 moving companies in the last 10 years and Best Rate Home Svcs was a breath of fresh air!!! I cannot say enough about these guys and the office people are the best at what they do as well. The movers also were great and their moving equipment was top notch, like stuff I've never seen. Need a moving service in Tampa FL? Then you better call these guys because if you don't it will be a complete gamble of your money and valued items/furniture.
Absolutely, positively the best commercial moving service in Tampa, FL!! They moved my 250 cubicle office in half a day and the movers are experts at what they do. Best Rate Home Services was great from start to finish! Couldn't be happier with my experience. Everyone involved was professional and courteous, even when I had to change my move date shortly before my already scheduled date. They carefully wrapped my belongings with blankets and stretch wrap and not a thing was damaged in the move. The cleaning team they sent was wonderful too. I was able to get my full deposit back after they went in and cleaned the apartment. I would absolutely recommend Best Rate to anyone! They have such high ratings for a reason. You won't be disappointed if you book with them :)

I am a realtor in Tampa and best rate home services provided me a junk removal service and a deep cleaning of a home I was renting. The items that were abandoned by the tenants needed to be removed and this company was stellar. They removed the junk quickly and the cleaning was very well done. In my opinion no one goes above and beyond like best rate and I'm happy I called you guys instead of some other company.
