General Info

CAARE is an all-volunteer, North Dakota, non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation devoted to the welfare of companion parrots. We take in surrendered, rescued, and sometimes abandoned parrots and work towards finding them the best adoptable home possible. We are also dedicated to teaching the public about companion parrots. In our Avian Warehouse, which is attached to the shelter, we offer a large selection of parrot toys (XS to XL), food (Pellets, ,etc.), treats, perches, stands, along with some new and a ton of used cages with adoptions. We offer services such as clipping nails, clipping wings, bathing, and boarding.
