When my handyman (whom I hired to install a washer & dryer) said to me "you have a problem" he sent me into that OH NO now what mode! He said "the mice have chewed your main line into the panel, you need an electrician". Say it's not so, as dollar signs flash before my eyes. To the yellow pages I went and began calling local electricians, voice mail after voice mail I left my name, the situation as I knew it and my number. At one point I was able to reach someone "who could be out in an hour to take a look". Than I received a call back from Chris. He said he could be by in the afternoon if that was ok and we scheduled a time. The first electrician came out to look and said "yup that's the main line", he said "we will cut the ceiling here and put in a junction box there" and the rest was just dollar signs flashing before my eyes again. As he left he said "he'd work up the quote and call me later". Chris showed up for our appointment as promised, he opened the box and I pointed to what I knew was the problem. At this point he informed me that the line in question was not my main line but the line to the electric stove, it's an easy fix and he could have it completed in about 30 minutes. As promised Chris had completed the job in 30 minutes and he did not rob my piggy bank! Now the AA Electrical Services sticker sits proudly on my panel for all to see! Oh, and that other guy, came back with a quote almost as high as the nation debit! Chris thank you!
