Best gel polish ever! It is not that they use different stuff it is just that they know how to do it right. My gel polish never cracks or peels and I often get 3+ weeks out of it. My old place well...it would chip within 2 days. I love this place! If you really want quality work by true professional people then I recommend this place. I always know what to expect when I go here. Truly the best salon out this way.

got a mani and pedi. Paid $47 with tip. They don't have a way to dry the nails other than a small fan. I waited there forever and an hour later my nails are still wet and now ruined! Now I hope I can find a color to match what he used and try to save what's left or do it all over again! So upset!!!

I was getting may nails done when a lady came in asking the price. They told her $25 for white tips. The lady overreacted and said, "What? I can get them done for $23 down the street." I was totally shocked that someone would make a drastic deal over $2 difference. I have been to every salon out this way and I know the kind of work that gets done in the other salons and I can tell you with 100% certainty that nobody, not one salon out here, does nails better than JL Nails. You might be able to find somewhere a little bit cheaper but cheaper does not mean better. Often times cheaper means more expensive when you calculate how much you need to spend to fix a broken nail or one that pops off because the work was shoddy. And trust me ladies, if the reason you go to a certain salon is because of price, it might be cheaper because they are using cheaper product. If your nails are cloudy or milky looking you are definitely in the wrong place. With JL Nails my nails never have bubbles, they are always smooth and filed right, they never ever yellow, and I honestly have not had one of them break on me. I am writing this review because I want everyone to know that this salon is upscale in everything they do. They take their time and they do it right. If you want cheap and shoddy work, yes, go down the street. If you want great nails then this is the place. I never write reviews but this time I just had to. You really do get what you pay for. I like what I get here and I will keep coming.

I usually go to a place called Nails US, which is very close to my home. The lady time I tried they actually turned me away. That has never happened before, even when they were busy. I was not happy with their work for a long time, to begin with. And when they say "we vetty busy, come back" I decided I would come back...when hell freezes over. I did some research and found JL Nails, which was on my way home from work. I tried them yesterday and my nails haven't looked this good in a really long time! They are my new regular place to go for my nails. I may even look into their lashes. Thank you JL Nails and Lashes!

Me and my mom have been going to this place for more than a year now and we have never been let down. Our toe polish always lasts forever and my nails never lift. They are super friendly, funny, and always have made us feel special, even when they get busy.

Wow...What can I say about JL Nails & Lashes? They provide amazing, quality services. I have never experienced anything but the best Customer Service. Brandon &Thuy are hands down the BEST!! It's hard for me to read what a terrible review one Customer wrote about them. I have been going to them every week for almost a year & I have NEVER seen Brandon treat anyone unprofessionally. He is always kind & professional. I love going to this Salon. They are amazing people that provide top notch services. While it is true their 2 beautiful girls are at the Salon, so what??? They are a young couple trying to run a great business while juggling raising a family. I have never once been bothered by their sweet girls. i was getting my lashes done by thuy for a long time and then i had to travel for work for a few months and wasn't able to get them done. when i came back, i couldn't get into thuy (i had to get them spur of the moment and she was booked) so i went to someone else who does them out of her home. well let me just say that this was the biggest mistake of my life. i have discovered that lots of people are now learning to do lashes somewhere for super cheap and these people are thinking they can work on peoples delicate lashes. if someone does them from home - beware! if someone just has a certificate - double beware! i learned my lesson. i trust jl nails and lashes and appreciate that they are licensed professionals who take the extra effort to master their crafts. i just got my lashes done again by thuy (i hugged and hugged her) and it is such a relief now because i've missed the beautiful gal with lovely natural looking lashes when i would look in the mirror. i am back baby! thank you jl nails and lashes!

I live in Wendover and can choose anywhere to get my nails done. I choose JL Nails and Lashes because I am never disappointed. I always get what I want and they are easy to talk to. I have been going there for over a year and I always see so many people come and go who get the eyelash extensions and everyone always looks so good. I know that Thuy does great lash extensions but it was Brandon who did mine and they look fabulous. He takes as much care of my lashes as he does my nails. This place is a one stop salon for all of my needs. They are excellent at everything they do there. Definitely worth the drive for me!

The reviews are right. This place rocks! I was skeptical because I have gone other places to get lashes and I would keep trying new places because they always sucked. I have a couple of friends who have been going to JL nails and lashes for over a year and their lashes always look so good that I finally had to drive the distance and see for myself. Let me just say that is more than worth the drive for me and I live an hour away in Provo. When I was there I noticed how happy everyone was and how pleased they were with the quality of work they got from people there and so I decided to get my nails done there too. Brandon did my nails and Twee did my lashes. Brandon is so good and so gentle. I found a new place for my nails and my lashes. I will never go anywhere else. Honesty, there are a lot of salons out there, right? The people who do the work can really make a difference and this place has won me over. Thank you so much, JL Nails and Lashes! Thank you Twee! My lash extensions are the best I have gotten. I have been getting them done for a long time now and I have been to other places in Utah: Cherry Lash Lounge, Lash My World, and others. All of these places say they do great lash extensions but none of them compare to what I have gotten at JL Nails and Lashes. My extensions are straight, fuller than anyone else has done, and they look amazing and natural! These guys do the best work out there hands down! Other places have charged me more than $200 and the work isn't half of what I get from here and they look nowhere near as good. If you want great lashes the first time I recommend going to JL Nails and Lashes. They get busy though because they do such a great job so you probably want to call them to make an appointment. They do really good pedicures and nails there too. My mom and I have come for nails and pedis and they always do such a good job. Very clean and very friendly. What else can I say? I LUV this place too!

I wanted to chime in. I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years and have never witnessed anything close to what this Angela is saying. My opinion is that if Brandon was upset with this lady and said something she didn't want to hear then she probably deserved it. Who goes to a salon and tells them they aren't going to come back? Regardless of whether or not they can accept your card or check, who says they won't be back? All you have to do is read this lady's words to know she is a jerk. I would have called the police on her if it were me so the fact that they let her go with just her personal information was pretty nice. I always pay cash anyway. Don't you know that they have to pay out on your service when you use the credit card machine? I would rather save them the money and just bring cash. They earned it, not the credit card companies. I think this lady has some personal issues and should leave the salon and their precious kids alone. I mean, really, who brings up children as a way to hurt someone? And, who keeps this thing going? This lady should get a life! Maybe her husband left her? Who knows? Now she is taking out on a family trying to run a small business. I am voicing my opinion because I love Brandon and Thuy and the girls who work there and don't want newcomers to their review site to belief a single thing negative that is said. Best and friendliest service I have ever received... They are perfectionists! It takes a lot to earn my trust and respect and I will be damned if I let this happen without sticking up for them!

i moved here from LA 6 months ago and needed to find a place that did real good nails. the white guy brandon did my nails and they lasted for 6 weeks the first time. it was weird cause normally you only see asian dudes who do nails, right? he did real good and i wanted to say it in here because they really do a good job. you dont normally see a place with a lot of good reviews but these guys are the real deal. just sayin..

OMG! What? Brandon is the best! And nobody out there can touch Thuy's lashes! I have been a long time customer of JL Nails and Lashes but never thought to write a review! I do not know why I feel upset when I read the review from Angela below but it really makes me mad and I feel like I need to say something. Brandon is the nicest guy and has always been way professional and has always been there to help me with my nails. You should have seen them before I started going to him. If there is one person in the world who never does thick nails, it is Brandon. I have never had more naturally looking nails than from him. Angela, if that is your real name, grow up and move on to something else! Brandon, there are a lot of us out there who appreciate you and thank you. There are a lot of us who will post on here now to let everyone know how good you guys do.

I was a first time customer yesterday and feel I should share my experience. After getting a manicure I reached into my wallet to get a credit card to pay and was told by the technician that they don't take credit cards (it clearly states on their Yellow Page ad that all major credit cards are welcome). I happened to have my checkbook with me and offered to write them a check, and was told they don't accept checks, payment is cash only. I did not have cash and was going to be late for school pickup. The owner (Brandon) was called up front and was immediately defensive. The technician (who was very nice) and I were trying to explain that I had no cash, was running late and also live 20+ minutes away, and just running home and getting some cash was not an option. Brandon's reply to this was, Murray is not that far away. I pointed out that nowhere in the establishment or on the door did it state that it was a cash only salon, and had that been properly displayed, I would never have come in. His response to me was, well, that's your problem. I told him that his complete lack of customer service skills was unfortunate because despite the fact that the nail tech did a nice job, I would never want to return, to which he replied, That's fine, we don't want you back. I was in NO WAY attempting to get away without paying for the service I received, but felt the onus was on Brandon to work with me seeing that he failed to properly inform the customer about the very limited payment options. His solution was for me to leave a credit card with him and I could pick it up when I brought back the cash. I thought the suggestion was absurd and was in no way going to leave my credit card with a complete stranger who had just displayed the absolute worst customer service skills I had ever experienced in my life. He then called up his wife/co-owner who not only apologized for her husband's rude behavior, but was at least trying to diffuse the situation and calmly come to a resolution. They had the nail tech write down my name, address, phone number and driver's license number. I left, picked up kids, found a bank and drove the cash all the way back to the salon. When I got there to pay I asked for the sheet of paper with all of my personal information on it, which now had the make and model of my car as well as my license plate number written down. So, if you want to be completely insulted and made to feel like a common criminal, this is the place for you. On a side note, the owner's two young children were running around the salon screaming and being rather disruptive; not really the kind of experience a customer wants in a service environment
